The process of converting oil drums into art is both a tribute to man's imagination and resourcefulness in the face of dire economic needs. Through a series of steps, Hatian artists flatten oil drums into 4' x 6' pieces of metal "canvas." They then draw an image onto the metal with chalk and finally, with only a hammer and chisel, the design is cut and the final art piece is made. Appropriate for interior and exterior installation. Select from rectangle, round or square. As each piece is an original work of art, no two pieces will be exactly alike. Dimensions: rectangle is +/- 15" x 11" |
